A Festival That Keeps Growing
Rock the Block did not start as one of Clinton County's biggest community gatherings, it became one. Year after year it has grown into a weekend that draws people from Wilmington and the surrounding towns, and it now ranks among the largest events on the county's summer calendar.
The most recent edition was the festival's 7th annual, held Friday July 25 and Saturday July 26, 2025, with the headliner night inside the historic Murphy Theatre and street concerts along Main Street. It was the biggest block party downtown has seen, and the momentum behind it has not slowed down.
For 2026, Rock the Block returns to the same Main and Sugartree streets footprint on the weekend of Friday July 24 and Saturday July 25, with the main music nights opening in the evening. Lineup announcements, vendor applications, and the full schedule are shared first through the official Rock the Block Facebook page.
