Booster Clubs in Action: How to Help This Week
No booster club meetings or fundraisers with published dates fall inside Oct 25-31 this week, so the clubs are focused on what the playoffs and the season's end bring: memberships, concession volunteers, and the ongoing campaigns that fund Clinton County athletics all year. Here is where each organization stands:
Playoff football is on the calendar, which means a home game at Alumni Field Friday, Oct 30, and a busy night for the concessions stand. The Hurricane boosters support every Wilmington student-athlete through memberships, season passes, concessions, and scholarships, all coordinated through the Wilmington Athletic Department. The district's booster page lists how to join and volunteer. Visit the Wilmington High School Boosters page for details.
The "4 Quarter Drive" capital campaign continues toward its $460,000 goal for field turf replacement at the Falcon stadium, with roughly $68,550 raised as of early October per the club's Zeffy fundraising page. The companion project to expand the track to eight lanes remains part of the drive. The 2026-27 annual membership is open at $50, and corporate sponsorship packages are available. Explore cmathleticsboosters.org, join as a member, or give to the turf replacement fund.
The club, organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, keeps its 2026-27 membership open year-round and coordinates concession volunteers and scholarships for graduating senior athletes. Its flagship fundraiser, the Blue Tie Event honoring Wildcat athletic legends, is a spring tradition. Visit blanathleticboosters.org for membership and volunteer details.
With football season over, the Astro boosters turn toward winter sports support and the recurring fundraisers that fund the year, including the football and basketball golf outing, an annual spaghetti dinner, a baseball golf outing, and volleyball fundraisers. Dates for the 2026-27 school year are posted on the official East Clinton athletics booster page as events are finalized. See the East Clinton Athletics booster page for dates and sign-ups.
Compliance note: All fundraisers featured above are organized by independent, school-affiliated booster and band organizations. Glasshouse Realty does not operate these fundraisers and receives no proceeds from them; ticket and donation details come from each group's official pages. Fundraisers with incentives or affiliated vendors should be reviewed for compliance before promotion.
